Vliv treninku na změny parametrů vnitřního prostředí koní

Objective of this diploma thesis was to evaluate internal environment of racehorses according to physical load. Experiment was done on ten english thoroughbred horses. These horses were prepared in training for the plain racing. Blood collections for analysis were done at rest, 5 and 10 minutes after physical load. Analysis were done by metabolic profile test. Biochemical and hematologic measurements were studied on horses. All horses showed high values of selen, from 278,62 to 337,48 umol/l. Thanks to biochemical measurements, at creatine kinases, the biggest value that was find out was 8,13 ukat/l at rest, after 5 minutes of rest, it was in range of 3,72 - 8,23 ukat/l and after 30 minutes, in range between 3,01 - 12,88 ukat/l. At rest the lactate was established at biggest value 6,58 mmol/l, after 5 minutes of rest values on all tested horses increased to biggest measured value 8,98 mmol/l. Factor LDH has increased too, after 5 minutes of rest it has increased from the standing point to the biggest measured value at 9,97 ukat/l. Intensive training of race horses causes that the tracked measurements arent going back to the optimal values after the 30 minute rest. Majority of tracked measurements, especially biochemical, exceeds upper minimum of reference values. We conclude that it would be appropriate adjusting the reference values and standards for english thoroughbred in physical load.

Physiological parameters Suffolk breed of sheep breeding in Soběslav

The aim of the thesis was the evaluation of commercial properties, physiological state and selected blood parameters in sheep suffolk breed with focus on monitoring increases, blood parameters and coprological examination which prooved parasitological settlement. Monitoring was conducted in 2013 and early 2014 when 17 ewes and 16 lambs were observed. For thesis purpose two samples were made on 25.3.2013 and 14.10.2013. Several elevated values have been detected among which were glucose, urea, total protein, albumin, 1 and 2 globulin and partially cholesterol. ß globulin was below the physiological range, globulin was initially below the physiological range, but in the second sampling was above the physiological range. Decreased values were observed in case of calcium concentration in blood plasma. The parasitological findings prooved presence of coccidia Eimeria and gastrointestinal nematodes.

Seasonal changes in the metabolic profile of dairy cows

V teoretické části mé diplomové práce bylo cílem zpracovat přehled literatury, která se zabývá chovem, výživou a zdravotními problémy dojených plemen skotu v České republice a významem preventivních metabolických vyšetření. Dále pak popsat postup provádění a hodnocení metabolických profilových testů u dojnic. Praktická část byla zaměřena na zhodnocení vybraných ukazatelů metabolického profilu u dojnic plemene holštýn a český strakatý skot na rodinné farmě Velký Bor, kdy dojnice plemene holštýn dosahovaly užitkovosti 7450 litrů mléka za laktaci a dojnice český strakatý skot 6725 litrů mléka za laktaci. Vyhodnocování probíhalo v metabolicky nejnáročnější fázi laktace, tedy v období po porodu a ve vzestupné fázi laktace. Výsledky ukazují, že při uvedené užitkovosti dojnic plemene holštýn, která byla o 725 litrů vyšší než u dojnic plemene český strakatý skot, mezi metabolická rizika patří nedostatek Ca, Na a energetický deficit. To může vést k vyšší pravděpodobnosti vzniku metabolických onemocnění, především v období po porodu, oproti dojnicím český strakatý skot, které byly z hlediska užitkovosti méně zatíženy. Z hlediska ročního období a rozdílné krmné dávky v zimním a letním období dojnic nebyly výrazné rozdíly v hlavních sledovaných parametrech v krevním séru a moči, které by poukazovaly na vyšší riziko vzniku metabolických onemocnění. Avšak hodnoty bližší zvoleným normám vykazovaly profily v zimním období.
